Justin Bieber is a man who loves to experiment with his hair. From textured quiffs and cornrows to blonde locks, the pop star’s hair is an adventure – you just never know where it is going to take you next. While some of his hairstyle choices we weren’t digging the vibes of – there have been plenty that we’ve wanted to copy over the last year.
Today, we’ll share with you 3 of our fave Justin Bieber hairstyles – along with how to fashion your own hair into these awesome looks.
Ready, set – let’s get inspired!
#1: Long and Textured Blonde Locks

This is JB’s signature style right now – and it successfully shows that he is no longer a ‘tween star’. The look is disheveled, urban and cool. The tapered sides and the long top create a contrast, but what makes it stand out the most is the color that he’s decided to go for. Light, icy blonde is a brave choice for a man – and we admire him for having the guts to go for it.
How to get the look:
- #1: Getting JB’s look starts with the right haircut – which is essentially tapered sides (Number 4 haircut) with longer, straight hair on top.
- #2: Once you have the cut, the styling begins! Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner, to moisturize and ensure there’s no frizz.
- #3: Now, grab a blow-dryer and use it to sweep the hair gently to the side, mainly pulling the hair up so that you achieve more volume.
- #4: Once the hair is dry, use a dime-sized amount of pomade and shape it into the look you’re after – the more disheveled, the better!
#2: Undercut + Fohawk

Nothing says ‘Don’t mess with me’ better than a faux hawk. This urban hairstyle doesn’t have the bad rep that a mohawk is known for, but it does still require some guts. Justin Bieber knows how to rock a pretty good fohawk – and we’re going to tell you how you can, too.
How to get the look:
- #1: Every great hairstyle begins at the barbershop – isn’t that what they say? Assuming you have at least a few inches of hair on your top to work with, you will need to ask your barber for a fohawk (short sides, long top). To get Justin Bieber’s style, you’ll need an undercut – ideally, using a size 3 clipper.
- #2: For styling, we’ll begin with clean, damp (not wet!) hair. Use a comb to brush your hair up – but if you can’t get hold of a comb, your fingers will do.
- #3: Use a dime-sized amount of medium-hold pomade (or strong if your hair is a bit more difficult to style), and work it through the hair, styling it upwards and directing your hair towards the middle. Voila!
#3: Quiff with Tapered Sides

Say hello to JB’s quiff – probably one of the most popular of his styles. What makes us want to copy the look is the subtle front flick – as well as the sleek, shiny texture JB has managed to achieve. We particularly dig the tapered sides that accompany the quiff – it creates just the right amount of contrast without being too eye-catching. Let’s learn how to style this now – shall we?
How to get the look:
- #1: You’ll need a ‘short sides – long top’ cut. Leave about 2-3 inches of hair on top, while the tapered sides should be cut with a size 2-3 clipper.
- #2: Now that you have the cut – you’re ready to roll. Wash your hair and towel-dry it.
- #3: The next step is raking the fingers through the front part of your hair – then moving on to the sides.
- #4: Get some help from a medium-hold pomade. Work a dime-sized amount through your hair, then use a comb to direct the hair forward from the back.
- #5: Finish off with a blow dryer – combing as you go, so that you can get some extra volume in. Done!
